I almost always have a candle burning in the house. It makes the house so cozy to have the warm flame going, the light flickering off of the walls, and the amazing scent permeating through the house. I really feel “at home” when I have candles burning. It’s so relaxing! No matter what season it is, when you stop by at my house, there will be a candle burning.
One day, I didn’t light a candle. When my husband came home from work, he asked me why I didn’t. I never thought that he would care about it or miss it! When I asked him about this, he said that candles aren’t just for women. He really likes them, too! This made me really happy. For Father’s Day, he’s getting a Swan Creek Candle for his office.

For once, I have the weekend off of work. I am so excited! I love I have three whole days to do whatever I want to. My husband and son are SUPER excited as well because there are a ton of MLB games on TV. They have a printed out schedule so they can plan out which ones they can watch.
I decided that since they will be watching baseball all weekend, we can at least make it fun for all of us! I went to the grocery store yesterday and picked up a bunch of foods for grilling. To enjoy the nice weather, I thought that we could grill out every day. I also went and dug out all of my husband’s old sportscards. I thought it would be fun to go through these while the games are on. Maybe he had some rookie cards that turned into some great popular players!

This is what I got my boyfriend for tailgating season. This Yeti Cooler is not the cheapest cooler in the world, but apparently this is the best of the best coolers. Since my boyfriend does so much for me I thought he is worth it and he’s always wanted one, since his best friend has one now. You know men, always want to out do someone.
To me I honestly don’t understand, a cooler is a cooler, but what do I know. I guess this cooler keeps everything cold so much longer and it has twice the insulation. We are big on tailgating, it’s how we spend almost all the end of Summer to all the way into Winter. The people are just so amazing and fun to hang out with, and it’s a plus to be around people that love what you love. You meet new people everywhere you go, there’s fun competition, and no matter where you are at it’s always a good family fun time.

We just bought a new fourwheeler for our family and so far we are having so much fun with it. This is a Polaris Sportsman XP 850. We used to have a Polaris 550, but, of course, my husband wanted something bigger. At first I said no, because that was going to be way to much power for our son to drive, but after awhile he talked me into it.
We take our fourwheelers out to the ATV parks and go out and have a great time. It’s great family time and we camp out and just spend time with friends and family. Almost all of our family friends have either a fourwheeler, Ranger, or RZR. We spend the Fourth of July and Memorial Day weekend out at the atv parks, camping out and just relaxing and enjoying things we all love. It’s so much and definitely worth it. Yes, these are not cheap but if it’s something your family enjoys and brings you to spend time together, it is definitely worth the money.

After much car trouble lately, my Dad discovered my car didn’t need a new engine, just needed new coil windings. Little did we know that this on going problem took a small temporary fix. It seems my Dad has more of a problem with my 2002 Buick Century than I do. After this past weekend of car trouble, my Dad suggested that we go “car shopping”. Of course I squeeled and couldn’t wait to get behind the wheel of a new vehicle purchased by my parents, but my Mom was not about to budge on that purchase. She stood firm with the answer “no”. *shoot*
My parents purchased my first car for me, which was the 2002 Buick Century I’m talking about. Although it may look like a “grandma’s car” I have had nothing but love for it. It rides smooth, haven’t had any major problems with it, and it’s pretty decent on gas mileage. What more could I ask? Sure, a new vehicle would be nice, who wouldn’t want a new car bought for them? But, I have to say, I’m not in need. The Buick does me just fine and I will drive it till it dies
