My boys are getting to the age where they pay a little more attention on Sunday to the football game going on in the background of their every day living room destroying duties. My oldest son even asked for a football for his birthday. I was so proud to go out and buy him is first football! I have a tradition of wearing my favorite jersey on the day my team plays and I’m thinking of getting some NFL apparel for kids so I can pass that tradition on to my sons (even if they do root for their mom’s favorite team.) Football was one of the rare things I was able to connect with my father about and no matter what was going on we could always discuss and often debate over whose team was better. I remember those days fondly and I really hope I can continue the tradition of debating whose team is better and the tradition of me always being right!
