Well, I’ve decided to be the first dude in history to complete their holiday shopping in November and I’ve just gotten an early start! I want to make it my objective to not even step foot in a store in December! I wonder how that will work out for me!

BTW, one of the best movies of all times but seriously, is anyone going out to party for Halloween? I’ve finally gotten old and will not be going out to party this year. I’ll just be taking my kids out to get candy. Sounds like a good plan for me! If you are going out have one in my name please!

Did anyone else catch the video where Manson shot snot rockets on the crowd right before he said he had H1N1? That’s funny as hell if you ask me but a buddy brought up a point. If someone caught H1N1 and died from that incident could Manson go away for manslaughter?  I can see it now, death by snot rocket! Only Manson could go away for that.

Wow, I’ve gotten a bit of positive feedback on my post about Sonvolt.  I’m glad to hear people like them. If you are one of the ones who like them then check out Wilco. The singer was in Wilco back in the day so their music is very similar.

Do a search on these guys on iTunes or something. One excellent band if you ask me. The song holocaust is one of the most haunting songs I’ve ever heard. I know, I’m mellowing out in my old age but talent is talent! Youtube them or something.

So I’m guessing the Vikings are pretty happy with their decision to being in Bret this year. I’m impressed! I’ve never been that big of a fan and his retirement parties every year were getting old but he looks pretty good so far. Hopefully he can go out on top and then just stay out!

Anyone have any plans for Halloween? I remember growing up I used to love Halloween. We didn’t have a lot so it was fun to get some candy. Now, my kids really don’t want for anything and when it’s time to go out and trick or treat with them it’s lacking something to me. I love how excited they get but to me it’s very blah. Hopefully when they get older they will understand Halloween more and where their roots are. Right now it’s just about the candy.

I only caught a little bit of the game but the outcome speaks for itself. Like I said before, I’m a fan. I was before this game and I am after this game no matter what anyone says. How many people have tattooed themselves with their team’s logo? I have! So, with that being said, I’m a fan!

I am and have been forever! He just put out a fast rocking CD called “The dirty Dozen” where he cashes in on a handful of remakes, mostly obscure 60’s tracks only known to the blues and jazz markets. It’s a good mix of blues and high tempo riffs. If you’re a fan of bar rock it’s an easy “instant classic.”

Yes, we have Mr. Brady and Co this week. This will be the test to show me if my Broncos are contenders or simply lucky. Our defense needs to keep Brady out of the pocket and remind him of his leg injury. If we can do that, we just might pull out the win of the season! I’d never suggest putting a guy on the shelf but when Brady went down last year it was the best play of the season!
