And it continues…

I think this is a great clip. Let me set it up for you. Jimmy Kimmel, who has a late night talk show on ABC was asked to go on Jay Leno’s primetime show for a quick interview segment. One of the questions Leno asked was the biggest prank Kimmel ever pulled. Kimmel immediately said [...]

I wish I could do this

For those of you that don’t know what this is, this is called parkour. Parkour is also known as free running. Basically, you use the evironment and fluid body movement to move from point A to point B as fluidly as possible. It’s not technically a sport, but the training you need is very sport-like. [...]

Who’s your Super Bowl pick?

Well, the stage is set, the players are positioned.  New Orleans is set to play the Indianapolis Colts, the two teams that went the longest with unbeaten streaks this regular season.  Who’s your pick?  Do you root for the sentimental favorite New Orleans, still recovering from the effect of Katrina, or do you want the Colts, who [...]

Conan O’Brien – Class Act

Well, I watched the final Tonight Show with Conan, and I must say I sam impressed with how he carried himself that night.  He came out and made his cracks against NBC, justifiably so, and went through his show like normal.  What impressed me most was his farewell. He was thankful to NBC for all of [...]

So long Conan the Entertainer (for now)

Well, after many days of wailing and gnashing of teeth, NBC and Conan O’Brien have agreed to a deal that will end his tenure on the Tonight Show after 7 months.  This will allow Jay Leno to resume the hosting role.  I just think it’s incredibly tacky for NBC to do this since they announced [...]

Fator vs. Dunham

I’ve always found vetriloquists to be entertaining, and right now there are two big names in comedy whose act centers on ventriloquism.  Jeff Dunham has become a household name with his friends Walter, Peanut, Achmed, and others.  He’s got 3 concert DVDs and a Comedy Central show that lasted one season.  If no one else [...]

Gotta get new shades

My last pair of sunglasses are lost, somewhere in the Bermuda triangle that is my house. And with the sun shining on the snow around us, it makes for some very bright days. So I’m looking at getting a pair of polarized sunglasses and putting a tracking chip on them somehow.  Cause if I get [...]

NFL Playoffs, Week 2

Well, I checked my playoff bracket to see how I fared during the second week. I somehow got the matchups mised up for the divisional playoffs. I realized my goof when my one matchup both won their respective games. So, my bracket is officially a bust.

Dances with Smurfs

I went and saw the movie Avatar last night. And from the title of this post, I think you can guess my feelings on it. James Cameron is not a very subtle storyteller. Maybe he should go back to making Titanic movies.

TMQ rocks

When football is in season, there is one columnist I love reading.  Gregg Easterbrook, also known as the Tuesday Morning Quarterback, write for Page 2 on ESPN.com.  He recaps the wee’s games and offers insight into why certain teams seem to be flourishing while others are floundering.  What I really love are his tangent sections.  [...]
