If given the chance to redesign our currency, not change the numbers, just change the faces, who faces would we use. Presidents have been the face we see most often, with a few important leaders such as Ben Franklin. Some people have redesigned money with pop culture faces and the ones that make me laugh the most are these.

Yep, that’s the Burger King on the $1 bill, Michael instead of Andrew Jackson on the $20 bill, and Homer Simpson gracing the $50 bill.  I think the Michael Jackson bit is pretty funny, and with the way Burger King and McDonalds adertise their dollar menu it only seems natural. Homer just makes me laugh, simply put.

I know most of you probably have issues with the way the government is run, and I’m not one for discussing politics too often; my mom taught me it was always a guaranteed argument/fight, but this needs to be brought out. There is a representative from Arizona who is trying to push a bill through Congress that will reduce representative salaries by 5 percent. Now the average representative earns $174,000, so a 5% cut brings the salary down to $165,300. Now, that’s not too bad. But guess what, some representatives are fighting it. Imagine that, people who can control their own salaries not wanting to take a voluntary paycut. It must be nice to have that kind of say in your pay. Don’t you wish you did? Why not write your federal representative and ask them how they plan to vote on this one?

I think this is a great clip. Let me set it up for you. Jimmy Kimmel, who has a late night talk show on ABC was asked to go on Jay Leno’s primetime show for a quick interview segment. One of the questions Leno asked was the biggest prank Kimmel ever pulled. Kimmel immediately said he promised to give another guy his show and promptly takes it back. This was a classic zinger aimed directly at Leno. I think Kimmel is somewhat entertaining, and this is a great jab at the whole fiasco. So, there’s the setup, now watch the video here.

It’s a great way to drop hints on what you want for the holiday’s or your birthday. My birthday was kick ass! I’ve already gotten an LSD from Lisa and I picked up a few American Muscle gift cards!

Finally, the holidays are OVER! I really don’t like all the chaos that usualy goes along with the holidays – besides, my birthday is coming up (on the 29th) so the focus should be around ME, right?

I’d like to send out an apology to everyone. I made a post earlier about not wanting to party and how this was a sad day for dues everywhere. Well, I guess I was in a funk. I think I was just having a bad day! Who doesn’t like to party? I’m sorry for letting dudes the world over down! I’ll make sure to be in a better mood and be more willing to party from now on!

Anyone been out riding lately? I’ve had the buddy’s Polaris out a few times this summer and I have to say it’s just about time for me to go out and buy one for myself. I’m not sure what I’d want to buy right now. I might even go straight 4-wheeler but I’m not 10% sold on anything. I’m open to suggestions and editorials folks! What do you ride?

Yes, there are some people who just haven’t figured out that being a dude is about attitude. it’s isn’t a religion. It isn’t a sub culture. It’s just about being who you are and having a confident attitude. It’s really just as simple as that. For those who have been on a life long quest to be a dude, give it up. if it means that much to you then you’ll never be one. A dude is a dude because he’s a dude that doesnt care about being a dude. Wait, did I just out dude Tropic Thunder?

and it couldn’t come sooner! I’m on the East Coast and seriously what is with the freaking cold weather. It’s time for it all to be over with. Its time to get warm so the dude can go out an play. The fingers are sore, cabin fever is high and the kids are getting very rammy! We’ve had a few days of warmth and now it’s time to get things going full blast. bring on the 80 degree temps, the lawn mowing and the yard work!
