For those of you that don’t know what this is, this is called parkour. Parkour is also known as free running. Basically, you use the evironment and fluid body movement to move from point A to point B as fluidly as possible. It’s not technically a sport, but the training you need is very sport-like. I just like the idea of running and no obstacle slows you down for even a second. The guy in this video is one of the first practitioners of parkour, so you know he’s had a chance to practice.

I went and saw the movie Avatar last night. And from the title of this post, I think you can guess my feelings on it. James Cameron is not a very subtle storyteller. Maybe he should go back to making Titanic movies.

Star Trek 2009

Now that The Watchmen is old news it’s time to focus on the new next big thing. That;’s going to be Star Trek 2009. No I’m not a trecky but yes I do own all of the Star Trek movies and I’m proud of that fact. First contact would be my favorite but the thought of a prequil back to the youth of Kirk and Spock. Well, that just sounds too good to be true and next month we’ll all be able to see it in all its glory!

The Watchmen

This movie is all the rage lately. I’m not a big comic book fan so I didnt know much about it but all of my IT buddies at work are going nuts over it. They say it’s the best super hero comic of all times. it makes me wonder since I’ve never really heard much about it. I really thought everyone would be wating for the new X-Men movie where tey go into the Wolverene’s history but nope. Everyone seems more excited about this movie. I’m sure I’ll check it out but I’m not so sure what all the hype is about. Anyone else heard much about “the watchmen?”

I just got around to seeing Tropic Thunder and I have to say, the plot was better than expected and the Dude playing a dude disguised as another dude playing a dude was great! This was on of Ben Stiller’s better moves and really stands out as a comic masterpiece.

However, I also just saw Step Brothers and I laughed from the first minute of the movie up until the end of the movie. It was pure comic bliss and will go down as one of the top five comedies of all time for me! Go check out both of these movies, they are dude certified!
