Well, I checked my playoff bracket to see how I fared during the second week. I somehow got the matchups mised up for the divisional playoffs. I realized my goof when my one matchup both won their respective games. So, my bracket is officially a bust.

When football is in season, there is one columnist I love reading.  Gregg Easterbrook, also known as the Tuesday Morning Quarterback, write for Page 2 on ESPN.com.  He recaps the wee’s games and offers insight into why certain teams seem to be flourishing while others are floundering.  What I really love are his tangent sections.  Every once in a while, he’ll comment on current affairs, astro-physical news, or entertainment in general.  He’s a great writer, intelligent, witty, and just fun to read.

Well, after the first weekend of Wildcard playoffs in the NFL, I have to admit my staggering ability to pick the wrong team.  I went 1-3 in picking the winning team; the only one I got right was Jets-Bengals.  My bracket isn’t busted, but it’s pretty close, especially if I have another weekend like this last one.

It’s Tuesday and now can talk about it… What the hell happened on Sunday? Seriously, we got beat by Oakland. I spent three days making fun of Lisa when the Steelers got beat by them because they are so bad. I just cannot believe that Denver got beat by those guys. Now I hope we don’t make the playoffs.

For the Broncos this week. I wonder if they have what it takes to get far in the playoffs. I know we’re a huge underdog and after this weeks game who knows but I’m holding out hope we can get into the playoffs and make a run!

It wasn’t a bad showing against the Giants on Thanksgiving. I had sort of forgotten about it but it was a good game. I’m still off the bandwagon right now. We’ve only outscored our opponents by 7 points total. That’s not enough to win a Super bowl!

I’m not even going to watch the game this week. It’s too depressing. I’m going to boycott the rest of the season. Maybe we’ll make it into the playoffs then. It’s a one man/fan revolt! Denver, please field a REAL team!

Denver Broncos lost to the Chargers not to mention the last 4 games. We started 6-0 and now we’re 6-4 and in second place, facing another year without a playoff birth. So what did a new coach and a new QB get us? Some old stuff it’s gotten us since Elway  retired…nothing!

Well, Denver has finally show their true colors. Hopefully in a few years we’ll have a solid team. I don’t think Orton is the guy to fill the shoes but I think the coach is a keeper. Once we build that defense with younger talent we’ll be golden.
